In our original On-Demand At-Home Wellness Retreat participants were sent links to daily talks from our presenters. We have relaunched this retreat in 2022 with the name "Self Care Retreat" and are releasing some of the original content in new ways. Here are Self Care Lessons from Caregivers from presenters Ann Kaseman and her sister Amy Bidrman.

Amy and Ann became caregivers for their mother and support for their father when she was diagnosed with Alzheimer's. They wrote about their journey through the last year and a half of their mom's life in nine issues of Init Zine for conscious caregivers.

On January 20, 2022, Melissa presented Caregiver Resilience Practice for Proactive Seniors. Watch the video replay below to learn some wonderful caregiver resilience boosting techniques and tips.

On April 18, 2021, Melissa was a guest for Finding Balance in Caregiving: Physically, Mentally and Spiritually presented by Care Partners Texas.

Melissa, along with Rev. Katelin Jordan and Leslie Lowry, focused on finding the physical, mental and spiritual balance in caregiving.

On March 29, 2021 Melissa was a guest on the AARP Texas Prepare to Care Podcast.

"It’s no secret that the pandemic has added to the stress that family caregivers face daily. As family caregivers, we must take care of ourselves to be able to take care of others. But how do you care for yourself and do a good job of caring for your loved one?"

In January 2021 Melissa was a guest on Dayna Steele's Rock Star Podcast. Dana brings her Rock Star Principles of Success to The Rock Business: entertaining podcasts, popular speeches, best-selling books.

Melissa sat down with her to discuss the role of Caregiving, how we can best serve caregivers, and how caregivers can learn to accept help.
